Artevelde University of Applied Sciences

Artevelde University of Applied Sciences, member of the Ghent University Association, offers a wide variety of study programs in the fields of teacher training, economic and graphic education, healthcare and social work.

Artevelde UAS offers 18 Bachelor programs (two of those are full English degrees); 5 Advanced Bachelor programs; 6 international semester programs and 25 Postgraduate programs. It is a center of expertise for education, research and development where 13 000 students, 1300 staff members and strategic partners work together in a stimulating environment and develop their talents and competences in a forward looking and internationally oriented university of applied sciences.

Artevelde UAS is known for its excellent student-oriented services, education and guidance. It is an institute based on culture of internationalization, where creativity, innovative ways of thinking, self-directed learning and entrepreneurship are key values. Artevelde UAS has an extensive network of international contacts and is an active partner in international networks and projects for educational and research purposes. These partnerships are chosen for their complementarities in the context of student mobility, professionalization, social services and education. Outside Europe, Artevelde UAS opts for a strategic collaboration with five partner countries: South Africa, Canada, Ecuador, Vietnam and China. Every partner country has a strategic ambassador who detects the needs of parties involved and matches them in order to build sustainable relationships.
