Pedagogical design of a virtual classroom

We were testing in IES Puerta Bonita the new online training platform when the COVID-19 lockdown was imposed on us. During this lockdown we had to make sure that we finished the development and implementation of the platform, so it was ready to use. With a very heterogeneous starting point among teachers in the use of online training tools, we realized the importance of a good pedagogical design for teaching a subject virtually which is significantly different from teaching face-to-face. We began training our teachers to improve online teaching with specific workshops. Undoubtedly, the content must be of quality, but at the same time it is important to adapt the content and the way of teaching it, to the medium we use.
